Emmy Awards 2018: i vincitori, trionfano Il Trono di Spade e Mrs. Maisel

Gli Emmy Awards 2018, ospitati dal Saturday Night Live di Colin Jost e Michael Che, sono stati trasmessi in diretta dal Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles su NBC.

La settantesima edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards 2018 è stata presentata in onore dei migliori spettacoli televisivi di quest’anno

Il Trono di Spade della HBO ha vinto il premio come miglior serie drammatica, mentre La fantastica signora Maisel di Amazon ha vinto per la migliore serie comedy, vincendo un totale di cinque premi, tra cui il miglior attore protagonista e la miglior attrice non protagonista in una commedia. Le vittorie di Maisel hanno segnato la fine di un’era per Veep, che quest’anno non era ammissibile, ma ha vinto il premio per la migliore commedia negli ultimi tre anni, e la cui star, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, ha vinto come migliore attrice in una commedia per gli ultimi sei anni consecutivi.

L’assassinio di Gianni Versace: American Crime Story è stato un altro grande vincitore della serata, portando a casa tre premi, tra cui miglior serie limitata. Il nuovo show della HBO Barry ha conquistato le categorie degli attori comedy con le star Bill Hader e Henry Winkler che hanno ottenuto il premio come miglior attore protagonista e non protagonista in una commedia; anche The Crown e The Americans sono stati vincitori di più trofei.
