Il regista di Aquaman produrrà il reboot da lungo cercato dai fan
Deadline ha riportato la notizia che il regista di Aquaman James Wan produrrà il roboot del franchise diResident Evil. Wan produrrà il film per Constantin Film and Screen Gems.
Il copione per questo Resident Evil reboot è stato scritto da Greg Russo, il quale ha anche scritto l’ultima versione del reboot di Mortal Kombat, che lo stesso Wan produrrà. Insieme a lui produrrà anche Michael Clear per Atomic Monster. Per ora, nessun regista è stato scelto per il nuovo film.

Il prossimo progetto del regista di The Conjuring sarà Aquaman. Il film debutterà nelle sale il 21 dicembre 2018. Jason Momoa, meglio conosciuto per il ruolo di Khal Drogo nella serie HBO Il Trono di Spade, sarà il protagonista del film.
Nel cast di Aquaman, oltre a Jason Momoa e Amber Heard, troveremo Nicole Kidman nei panni della madre di Aquaman, Atlanna; Temuera Morrison è il padre, Patrick Wilson è il fratello, Orm (aka Ocean Master), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II è Black Manta, Willem Dafoe è Vulko e Dolph Lundgren è Re Nereus.
