Le Mans ’66 – La grande sfida (Ford V Ferrari) di James Mangold ha vinto il premio Outstanding Sound Mixing Motion Picture Award al 56° CAS Awards
Il team di mixaggio audio di Le Mans ’66 – La grande sfida, composto da Steven A. Morrow, Paul Massey, David Giammarco, Tyson Lozensky, David Betancourt e Richard Duarte hanno ritirato il premio. James Mangold ha avuto poi un motivo in più per festeggiare quando Harrison Ford gli ha consegnato il CAS Filmmaker Award.
Tra i destinatari precedenti c’erano stati Rob Marshall, Jonathan Demme, Steven Spielberg e Quentin Tarantino.
Tom Fleischman, che ha ricoperto la funzione di re-registrazione e mixaggio in oltre 200 film tra cui The Irishman, è stato insignito del CAS Career Achievement Award.
Il regista Martin Scorsese, con il quale Fleischman è un collaboratore frequente, ha inviato un video messaggio registrato.
Per quanto riguarda la TV, le squadre di mixaggio sonoro della serie HBO Il Trono di Spade e Chernobyl hanno vinto rispettivamente per Television-One Hour e Television Movie o Limited Series.
Fleabag e Barry sono stati protagonisti di un evento raro essendo stati premiati entrambi come Television Series-Half Hour.
