Mammoth Screen e Agatha Christie Limited sono pronti a rigirare le scene del film drammatico natalizio di BBC One Le due verità (Ordeal by Innocence) con Christian Cooke (The Art of More) che sostituirà Ed Westwick, recentemente accusato di violenza sessuale da tre donne.
Adattamento del romanzo di Agatha Christie, Le due verità aveva terminato le riprese a settembre ed era stato programmato per andare in onda la prima volta il 26 dicembre. Tuttavia la trasmissione del film è stata sospesa sulla scia delle accuse contro Westwick, che è meglio conosciuto per il suo ruolo in Gossip Girl.
La serie in tre parti de Le due verità, co-prodotta da Mammoth Screen e Agatha Christie Limited, sostituirà tutte le scene con protagonista Westwick alla fine di questo mese in Scozia con Cooke e altri membri del cast tra cui Bill Nighy, Anna Chancellor, Matthew Goode e Eleanor Tomlinson.
Endeavour gestisce le vendite internazionali dello show. La nuova data di messa in onda de Le due verità sarà presto annunciata. Nel frattempo, la seconda stagione di White Gold, che Ed Westwick stava girando quando le accuse sono state fatte a novembre, è ancora sospesa.
