Howard il Papero: Kevin Smith conferma la presenza del Dr. Bong

Kevin Smith parla della serie animata recentemente annunciata da Hulu su Howard il Papero, confermando anche la presenza del Dr. Bong

Dopo l’entusiasmante notizia delle 4 nuove serie animate prodotte da Hulu a tema Marvel, tra cui Howard il Papero, Kevin Smith entra nel merito della serie dedicata a questo personaggio. Il produttore, ingaggiato anche alla sceneggiatura, è entrato nel merito e ha svelato che nella serie ci sarà anche il Dr. Bong in un post su Instagram.

La scorsa settimana Hulu ha annunciato un accordo per realizzare quattro nuove serie animate Marvel: M.O.D.O.K., Hit Monkey, Tigra and Dazzler e Howard il Papero! Questa è una notizia fantastica per me come fan, ma anche come professionista, mi sta esaltando perché mi hanno assunto per scriverla! Molto cortesemente, hanno assunto anche il grande Dave Willis per scriverlo, così avremo uno show di successo! Dave e io ci stiamo buttando a capofitto su Howard: Beverly, Bond e l’intero cast di personaggi che ha reso grande questa serie! Ho visto dei testi per Hit Monkey e M.O.D.O.K. e santo papero, sono sorprendenti! Così Dave e io abbiamo il nostro lavoro da fare. Ma dal momento che Dave è un genio dei cartoni, Howard è in buone mani pennute! Grazie a Jeph Loeb e alla Marvel Television per avermi assunto, Hulu per la casa e Steve Gerber e Valmay Erik non solo per un fantastico personaggio, ma anche per il lavoro che ci ha fornito! Non posso anticiparvi nulla di ciò che stiamo  facendo, ma posso dirvi questo: ho già chiesto all’eroina Lea Thompson di andarci il suo vocale Quack Fu per un ruolo che verrà rivelato più avanti!

Last week @hulu announced a deal to carry four new @marvel animated shows: #Modok, #HitMonkey, #TigraAndDazzler and #HowardTheDuck! This is fantastic news to me as a fan, but as a professional, it’s quacking me up because THEY HIRED ME TO WRITE IT! Mercifully, they hired the great #DaveWillis to write it too, so we might have a successful show! Dave and I are going Full-Gerber on Howard: Beverly, Bong and the entire cast of characters that made this fowl legend fly! I saw tests for Hit Monkey and M.O.D.O.K. already and holy duck, are they astounding! Like, legit next level shit! So Dave and I have our work cut out for us. But since Dave’s the cartoon genius behind #meatwad and the #aquateenhungerforce, Howard is in some fine feathered fingers! Thank you to #jephloeb and the #marveltelevision folks who egged me on, #hulu for the home, and #stevegerber and #valmayerik for not only an amazing character, but also the eventual job for me your work provided! I can’t spoil where we’re going, but I can tell you this: I already asked movie-Howard heroine @lea_thompson to lend us her vocal Quack Fu in a to-be-revealed-later role! And she did NOT say no!
