Oscar: svelate le short list di 9 categorie

Le short list degli Oscar sono out per nove categorie, tra cui film internazionali, documentari, colonna sonora e canzoni, trucco e acconciatura, effetti visivi e cortometraggi

Queste categorie degli Oscar sono il primo indicatore nella corsa per la 93a edizione degli Academy Awards e, sebbene le liste contengano poche vere sorprese, è una buona notizia soprattutto per quei film che vengono citati più di una volta. In testa al gruppo con tre menzioni a testa ci sono il film natalizio di Netflix Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (per canzone, colonna sonora e trucco e acconciatura), Mank di David Fincher (colonna sonora, trucco, effetti visivi) e Mulan della Disney (colonna sonora, canzone ed effetti visivi).

Le nomination complete agli Oscar saranno annunciate, con queste categorie ridotte a cinque nomination finali ciascuna, il 15 marzo, e ABC trasmetterà in diretta la 93a edizione degli Academy Awards il 25 aprile 2021.
