Jay and Silent Bob: Kevin Smith annuncia un cameo di Fred Armisen

Le riprese del reboot di Jay and Silent Bob sono appena finite. Kevin Smith ha introdotto i due personaggi nel suo primo film Clerks. Protagonisti di diverse altre pellicole di Smith, Jay e Silent Bob faranno a breve il proprio ritorno sul grande schermo dopo un periodo d'assenza.

Le riprese del reboot di Jay and Silent Bob sono finite, ma Kevin Smith non ha ancora smesso di riservare sorprese ai suoi fan. Infatti l’attore e regista ha da poco condiviso una foto in compagnia di Fred Armisen, il comico del Saturday Night Live e co-ideatore della serie televisiva Portlandia. Smith ha dichiarato che Armisen ha trascorso un paio di giorni sul set, e che quindi sarà presente all’interno della pellicola.

When we were lucky enough to get @sordociego into @jayandsilentbob Reboot, I knew we would land a great cast! #fredarmisen is talent-bait: when actors or actresses see a genius like Fred is involved, they feel way more comfortable about joining up as well! Fred is my go-to @youtube star: if I have any time when I’m smoking and not working, I watch old @nbcsnl clips featuring Fred, eps of #portlandia or @docnowifc. So even though I worked with him for a night on #copout, having him on the Reboot for a few days was fanboy Heaven for me! But funniest fan moment for me was when I asked him about the bits he does at the drum set on @latenightseth. “Do you just roll up and do those and then bolt whenever you’re in the City?” And Fred said “No, that’s my real job. That’s my band. We do the music. That’s not a bit: I’m really a drummer.” What’s weird is a) I love the Late Night theme song, and b) Fred wrote if! He’s crazy-talented and crazy-sweet (seriously – everyone loves #Armisen because he’s brilliant, but also because he’s a super nice guy)! And he killed in #jayandsilentbobreboot! Sembra che la nuova pellicola su Jay and Silent Bob ruoterà attorno ai due protagonisti che scoprono che a Hollywood stanno facendo un reboot del film Bluntman & Chronic ispirato a loro – lo stesso che la coppia ha cercato di bloccare in Fermate Hollywood! – I due protagonisti si rimetteranno in viaggio, per tentare di fermare anche il reboot.

Jay and Silent Bob: probabile cameo del campione WWE Chris Jericho

La pellicola riporterà alcuni regular del vecchio cast del film di Smith, inclusi Jason Lee (che interpreta Brodie Bruce e Banky Edwards) e Brian O’Halloran (Dante Hicks di Clerks). Per ora sappiamo che non torneranno Ben Affleck (ancora in brutti rapporti con Smith) e Jeff Anderson.
