The Rock pubblica sui social una nuova foto dello spin-off Hobbs & Shaw che mostra Vanessa Kirby

Dwayne Johnson che, a giudicare da tutte le foto che pubblica, sembra aver appena assunto l’incarico di pubblicitario per Hobbs & Shaw, ha rivelato il primo sguardo a Vanessa Kirby nello spin-off di Fast and Furious. Kirby, che è apparsa in The Crown di Netflix prima di provare le sue abilità in Mission: Impossible – Fallout, è pronta a interpretare l’agente dell’MI6 Hattie Shaw, sorella di Jason Statham nel film.

Oltre al fatto che Idris Elba interpreta il cattivo e che The Rock, quasi certamente, ha mangiato 12 chili di carne di cavallo al giorno per entrare nella folle forma che ha ottenuto per il film, non si sa ancora molto sulla trama di Hobbs & Shaw. Il primo spin-off di The Furious è tratto da una sceneggiatura di Chris Morgan, che ha realizzato tutti i film del franchise, da Tokyo Drift del 2006.

Il regista di Deadpool 2, David Leitch, è al timone. Johnson produrrà insieme a Dany Garcia e Hiram Garcia, attraverso Seven Bucks Productions. Statham, Neal H. Moritz per Original Film, e Chris Morgan per la sua omonima casa di produzione produrranno insieme a Kelly McCormick, Steve Chasman, Amanda Lewis, Ainsley Davies e Ethan Smith.
