Emmy Awards 2023: nomination da record per Succession e The Last of Us

Sono state annunciate le nomination degli Emmy Awards 2023, giunti alla 75a edizione. Succession, The Last of Us e The White Lotus (tutte targate Sky) sono fra le serie più nominate ai 75° Primetime Emmy Awards 2023, il massimo riconoscimento al meglio della TV americana. Le premiazioni si terranno il prossimo 18 settembre.

Per la stagione finale di Succession nomination di pregio come quella per la miglior serie drammatica e quelle a tutti i suoi attori protagonisti (da Brian Cox a Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong e Sarah Snook), alla scrittura, alla regia e a pressoché tutto il suo straordinario cast, non protagonisti (Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, J. Smith Cameron) e guest (Hiam Abbass, Cherry Jones e Harriet Walter) inclusi.

The Last of Us guadagna ben 24 nomination, le principali nelle categorie miglior serie drammatica e in quelle per gli attori protagonisti (Pedro Pascal e Bella Ramsey) e guest (Melanie Lynskey, Storm Reid e Anna Torv). Keivonn Woodard, l’interprete di Sam, è dentato nella storia dei premi come il più giovane attore mai nominato.

The White Lotus ottiene importanti nomination fra cui quella come miglior serie drammatica, quella per scrittura e regia (a Mike White) e quelle per il suo brillante cast che comprende Sabrina Impacciatore, Simona Tabasco, Jennifer Coolidge, Megann Fahy, Aubrey Plaza, F. Murray Abraham, Theo James, Will Sharpe e Michael Imperioli. Anche la serie fantasy House of the Dragon è fra i titoli a contendersi il titolo di miglior serie drammatica.
