After 14 home viewings of @avengers, I feel my favorite moment is tied between the Tony and Howard scene (or Howard and Howard) and the Thor and Frigga scene (or the Mom of Thunder). In a spectacular adventure filled with impossible delights, the biggest moment of pure fantasy to me is the idea of going back in time and getting closure with a dead loved one. Maybe some folks out there have dreamed of doing The Snap, but *everyone* has dreamed of seeing someone they lost just one more time. In a story where people shrink, a raccoon and a tree talk, and an invader from space can vanish half the universe, these quiet scenes with Mom and Dad may be the most fantastical. @marvelstudios tells stories about super humans performing fantastic feats of derring-do. And while the super sells the ticket, it’s the human I want to see the most when I settle into my seat. I can’t relate to taking a single punch from Thanos – but I *can* relate to wanting to talk to my Dad one last time, and I *can* relate to my Mom being a lifelong island of comfort in a sea of insanity. I love these @marvel movies so much, I watch them over and over again. And even though “no amount of money ever bought a second of time,” I feel my time has been well-spent doing so. You can’t always be the storyteller; sometimes you gotta sit in the audience. #Marvel makes it easy for me to switch gears from filmmaker to fan. #KevinSmith
Dopo 14 visioni a casa di @avengers, sento che il mio momento preferito è legato alle scene tra Tony e Howard (o Howard e Howard) e la scena tra Thor e Frigga (o Mamma del Tuono). In un’avventura spettacolare piena di momenti incredibili, l’idea milgiore, per me, è quella di tornare indietro nel tempo e chiudere qualcosa di irrisolto con le persone che amiamo. Del resto * tutti * hanno sognato, almeno una volta, di vedere qualcuno che hanno perso almeno un’altra volta. In una storia in cui le persone si restringono, un procione e un albero parlano e un invasore dallo spazio può far svanire metà dell’universo, queste scene tranquille con mamma e papà sono le più meravigliose. I @marvelstudios raccontano storie di super umani che compiono imprese incredibili e anche se sono le cose super a far vendere i biglietti, è il lato umano che voglio vedere maggiormente quando mi sistemo al mio posto. Non posso certo capire cosa voglia dire prendere un pugno da Thanos, ma certamente posso capire cosa significhi voler rivedere un padre perso da tempo o cercare il confortevole abbraccio di una mamma, quello che sembra proteggerti dalle brutture di qualsiasi cosa succeda al mondo. Adoro questi film della @marvel così tanto che li guardo ancora e ancora. E anche se “nessuna somma di denaro ha mai acquistato un secondo di tempo”, sento che il mio tempo è stato ben speso guardando questi film. Non puoi sempre essere il narratore; a volte devi sederti tra il pubblico. #Marvel mi rende facile cambiare marcia dal regista al fan. #KevinSmith
