The Greatest Showman on Earth: Zendaya si unisce a Hugh Jackman nel cast del musical

Secondo The Hollywood Reporter, la star  del cinema Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming) è in trattative per unirsi al nuovo film 20th Century Fox The Greatest Showman on Earth. L’attrice / cantante si unirà la già annunciato protagonista Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron e Michelle Williams nel primo musical originale di Hollywood in oltre due decenni. Lei interpreterà un trapezista e sarò l’interesse amoroso di Efron.

The Greatest Showman on Earth è sceneggiato dallo sceneggiatore di Sex in the City, Jenny Bicks, offrirà un introito musicale sulla vita di P.T. Barnum, in particolare concentrandosi sulla creazione del suo circo a tre piste e parlerà della sua infatuazione per Jenny Lind.

Hugh Jackman, che sta attualmente girando la sua ultima apparizione nel franchise di X-Men Wolverine 3, sarà egli stesso il produttore del film insieme a Laurence Mark e Chernin Entertainment. Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3, Star Wars: Il Risveglio della Forza) ha scritto la sceneggiatura.
