Il premio per il gioco dell’anno ha avuto contendenti agguerriti, come Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Fallout 4, Life is Strange, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Rocket League and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
